About Alucard-

Alucard, born Adrian Farenheight Tepes, is the son of Dracula and a human woman by the name of Lisa. By this lineage, he is half-vampire, a dhamphir. He has gained many of the powers of his father, but has retained his compassion and "human" side. His mother martyred when he was young, he joined his father in his evil ways, but eventually he realized that this was the wrong road, and sought redemption. From this, his role in the games is paved.

Alucard himself is a man of decision and honor, seeking retribution and the destruction of evil. He is dedicated and determined, though a bit standoffish. He is gentlemanly as befitting a noble's status, but reserved and aloof. His actions as Genya Arikado are more business-like, and rather cold. Perhaps he has evolved a bit to keep up with the demanding and fast-paced modern world. But at his core, he cares for humans of the world, and continually seeks to protect them from the forces of darkness.
