Fandemonium! was established as a convention in 2004, spearheaded by the illustrious Borneo. The motto is "For the Fans, By the Fans". That means that this convention will always be run by people who are genuinely interested in fandom for fandom's sake... and not their pocketbooks.
In their own words:
Fandemonium is an organization dedicated to the advancement and understanding of media fan culture in Idaho. We wish to promote these values through the education and entertainment offered in events and functions sponsored by our organization. We are not, nor will we ever be owned by a big business or corporation. For now and for as long as we continue our efforts, Fandemonium will be known as the convention built "For the Fans, By the Fans"What's not to like?! Fandemonium is usually held in August, and has been held at the Nampa Civic Center for the last few years.
